“The video was inspired by horror and the virus. The horror is being trapped in self analysis, and the virus is this information that spreads to us through devices; mainly seen in the video as the television. The song to me represented the ultimate standoff – man versus self. and you must battle yourself when you’re in solitude. these characters are trapped in an abandoned place, faced with frustrations that take them to the point of explosion.”

“Goodbyes make you realize what you’ve had, what you’ve lost, and what you’ve taken for granted. Edited using archival footage comes from the recording sessions for our first album with Ricky Armellino at Think Loud studios in York, PA.”

“This song is a dark comedy, turned tragedy and shows how you really don’t truly know what could happen with the one you’re with – a split-second and your whole life could change. And this metaphor of the song is applies to relationships that crash.“

“Some people are born into the struggle and some people are born in the struggle, and a product of a bad environment, and that’s our character, Tony. While the pit is his escape, it’s also his downfall. He’s constantly causing trouble–it’s his retaliation with anger for what life caused him.”

“This song is about hiding your true self from the people you love. With your significant other, you live the lie because you’re either comfortable or may not want confrontation; which comes with being honest. And as we continue to live the lie, it turns into a ‘relationshit’, not a relationship.”

The story of ‘Catch 22’ is about a hard-working guy whose whole world is crashing,” says vocalist Jeremiah Mayhem. “We get so consumed with the losses in front of us, it destroys us.  The video shows that your life is not defined by your job or your girlfriend.  It’s worth your life to live beyond those things. The Catch 22 happens, everyone suffers, but we can survive.”
